Summary
We are seeking skilled Shop/Field Welders/Fitters to join our team at Walkers Rig Welding. Working in Nisku and all around Canada, this role offers an opportunity to work with advanced welding techniques and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding tasks on various materials, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
- Utilize power tools and equipment effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling components.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to execute precise welding projects.
- Conduct routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working in the fabrication shop.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Welder/Fitter, with a strong understanding of welding techniques and processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations are essential.
- All position FCAW.
- All position SMAW
- Ability to work alone and with others.
- Possible working on the road for periods of time.
- Journeyman or equivalent experience

Pay: $22.80-$43.00 per hour
