What Is a Hairdressing Apprenticeship?
A hairdressing apprenticeship is a paid training position designed to teach you the technical, professional, and business skills required to build a successful career behind the chair.
As an Apprentice, your role is to learn. You will work alongside experienced Stylists, Educators, and Mentors while developing your skills in cutting, colouring, styling, consultations, guest care, and salon operations.
This is not a Stylist position. Advancement through the program is earned through training, practical evaluations, attendance, professionalism, and demonstrated technical growth.
Whether you've attended hair school, have previous salon experience, or are looking to enter the industry for the first time, we provide a clear roadmap for career development.

Responsibilities
- Assist Stylists with colour applications, shampooing, styling, and guest services
- Maintain salon cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Support daily salon operations
- Recommend professional retail products to guests
- Attend all required training sessions and educational events
- Recruit models for practical training and evaluations
- Build your professional portfolio and personal brand
- Work collaboratively with your team while developing independence and confidence
