BowDog is now hiring a full time pet care specialist to help us care for Calgary's best pets at our premium pet care facility where we offer doggie daycare, overnight lodging and grooming services.
We have staff caring for our facility and the guests in our care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year!
If you have a passion for pets, love to be active and thrive in a fun and positive team-oriented environment then BowDog is the place for you! Candidates must have the physical capacity to be on their feet for at least 4 hours inside and out in a variety of weather conditions, keep up with a fast paced environment and have a willingness to learn about canine and feline health, wellness and care requirements.
Some of the tasks involved in a typical pet care shift include (but are not limited to):
- Supervising a pack of dogs in play.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the facility
- Providing detailed feedback to both clients and supervisors of animals in care
- Managing time well and keeping organized
- Being both self-motivated and team-driven to ensure a successful and safe day for staff and pets alike
