Position Overview
We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth IT operations across hardware, software, and network systems. This role requires a proactive professional with strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. The IT Support Specialist will play a key role in maintaining Bistagne IT’s reputation for excellence in IT services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems efficiently.
- Install and configure systems including operating systems and applications.
- Maintain documentation for processes, troubleshooting steps, and solutions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and Canadian IT regulations.
- Collaborate with teams to deliver secure and scalable IT services.
- Support audits and IT-related assessments.
- Assist in training staff on IT systems and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in IT support.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, software, and troubleshooting practices.
- Excellent communication skills, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, IT tools, and ticketing systems.
- Certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, or Cisco are an advantage.
