Your Impact
As a Tax Team Lead, you will:
- Supervise and mentor staff accountants on tax compliance and advisory engagements.
- Act as the main point of contact between clients and your team.
- Take ownership of complex tax returns and research projects with growing independence.
- Develop tax engagement plans and budgets and monitor progress to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Motivate and support your team’s career development.
- Identify tax planning opportunities and assist in delivering value-added advice to clients.
- Participate in internal committees and help implement firm initiatives.
- Lead pre-engagement planning and deliver presentations or training in your area of tax expertise.
What You Bring:
- CPA designation.
- Minimum two years’ experience in tax within a public practice environment.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Experience with corporate and personal tax compliance, tax research, and an interest in tax planning and advisory.
- Enrolled in the CPA In‑Depth Tax Course (Parts I, II, and III), with progress towards completion considered an asset.
- Eagerness to learn, seek feedback, and take on new challenges.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Enthusiasm for tax, public accounting, and team leadership.
- Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
