Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Used Vehicle Salesperson to join our automotive dealership team. This role involves engaging with customers, managing sales pipelines, and providing exceptional customer service to facilitate the purchase of high-quality used vehicles. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, sales expertise, and a passion for the automotive industry. Preference given to candidates from the Stony Plain/Spruce Grove area. Previous dealership experience preferred but willing to train a suitable candidate.
Responsibilities
- Engage with potential customers through outside sales efforts and develop new business opportunities.
- Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to closing deals, including negotiation and upselling of used vehicles.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by prospecting and following up with leads.
- Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and recommending suitable vehicle options.
- Support marketing initiatives to attract new customers and promote dealership offerings.
- Utilize sales management tools to track progress, organize appointments, and maintain accurate records.
- Assist in B2B sales efforts when applicable, fostering relationships with corporate clients or fleet buyers.
- Maintain professional phone etiquette when communicating with clients and prospects.
- Collaborate with sales support staff to ensure smooth transaction processes and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales, dealership sales, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to upsell and close deals effectively.
- Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple clients and follow up efficiently.
- Familiarity with sales CDK software and CRM tools is a plus.
- Professional appearance, excellent phone etiquette, and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
