About the Project
The commercial aircraft program is hiring an EWIS System Integrator for its engineering department in Mirabel, Quebec. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, program, methods, manufacturing).
Your responsibilities include:

Participating in development projects

Supporting production and in-service operations

Analyzing and resolving issues impacting airworthiness
In this role, you will be responsible for the design and integration of electrical interconnection systems, coordinating cable routing and support with the relevant teams.
You will help ensure compliance with technical requirements and the application of best practices.

Responsibilities
1. Electrical Integration Project Management
-
Coordinate design milestones and ensure the success of reviews
- Manage the EWIS configuration and the complexity of modifications
- Anticipate technical and scheduling risks
2. Cross-Functional Integration
-
Serve as the technical point of contact between teams
- Optimize integration (routing, space, weight)
- Assess the impact of changes on the electrical system
3. Operational Excellence and Support

Manage suppliers and ensure compliance of deliverables
- Support production and resolve airworthiness issues
- Contribute to mentoring and skill development within the team
Qualifications
-
Master’s degree in electrical, aerospace, or mechanical engineering.
- At least 8 years of experience in the field of aerospace electrical systems.
- Systems thinking: Ability to understand how modifying a component in the wing impacts the certification of the entire EWIS system.
- In-depth knowledge of EWIS regulations (e.g., FAR, EASA) and industry standards (e.g., SAE).
- A “trust but verify” approach when reviewing supplier data; ability to detect inconsistencies in complex laboratory reports.
- Excellent technical writing skills for certification documentation and the ability to influence multidisciplinary design teams.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proactivity, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
