Job Duties
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for creating fully sufficient production order packages that will be used by production to fabricate custom designed metal parts exactly as per customer requirements
Responsibilities:
- Review customer orders and create complete, accurate work order packages for fabrication
- Interpret engineering, sheet metal, and architectural drawings to prepare production documentation
- Enter, organize, and maintain accurate order data in Excel, including parts, quantities, and sequencing
- Simplify and structure order details to ensure clarity and minimize production errors
- Communicate with customers to resolve missing information, technical questions, and discrepancies
- Manage multiple orders simultaneously, ensuring timely processing and follow-ups
- Coordinate with internal teams to confirm fabrication feasibility, material availability, and delivery timelines
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between quotes and final orders, including pricing adjustments
- Use Excel to estimate material usage, perform calculations, and organize production priorities
- Verify all dimensions, quantities, and revisions to ensure accuracy
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical or fabrication drawings
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, calculations, and data organization)
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in handling technical documentation
- Experience working with customers to clarify order details or technical requirements
Assets:
- Experience in a similar order coordination, production, or manufacturing role
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes
- Experience working with drawings in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
- Experience communicating with customers regarding orders or technical details
Other Information:
- Office is located in Woodbridge, Ontario in the Hwy 400 & Highway 7.
- Working hours: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Pay: $22.00-$32.00 per hour

Experience:
- Reading mechanical/fabrication drawings: 2 years (preferred)

- Preparing detailed orders and documentation: 2 years (preferred)
- Checking order accuracy (qty, dimensions): 2 years (preferred)
