Catering Sales Coordinator
Salary: $28 Hourly + health benefits
Hours: 30-40 Hours per week
Location: Currently based in Abbotsford, with a move just across the bridge to Mission in the coming months.
Join The Chef’s Acre catering team as our Catering Sales Coordinator. Put your down-to-earth friendliness and excellent eye-for-detail to work as you develop and foster meaningful client relationships and help facilitate outstanding events, from corporate lunches to elegant weddings, and everything in between.
The Catering Sales Coordinator will accept and manage all incoming event inquiries, manage the event calendar, craft proposals and contracts, gather event details, collaborate with partner vendors, and coordinate with the rest of the team.
This job is all about clear and personal communication. We’re looking for a team member with a genuine love for customer service and the knack for building and maintaining client relationships in a real way, from picking up the phone to in-person meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and respond to new event inquiries, follow up with clients, and gather new event information as needed to complete the bookings
- Create and send personalized event proposals and payment information
- Manage event calendar
- Foster client relationships and actively pursue repeat business
- Keep track of event details and communicate them to the team
- Additional admin support as needed
Qualifications:
- Event planning, hospitality, or sales experience
- Organized with an eye for detail
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- Thrives in a fast-paced, always changing environment
- Ready to collaborate and support the team
