Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Retail Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, assist with product merchandising, and handle sales transactions efficiently. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or services
- Operate POS systems for sales transactions, including cash handling and processing payments accurately
- Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure shelves are stocked appropriately
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple customers efficiently
- Follow phone etiquette standards when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries
- Assist with merchandising tasks, including pricing, labeling, and inventory management
- Support team members in achieving store goals through effective communication and collaboration
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service roles
- Strong communication skills in English
- Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and stock management
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Professional phone etiquette when interacting with customers remotely
- Ability to work well within a team environment while maintaining a friendly demeanor
Pay: From $17.85 per hour
