Assistant Store Manager

About Us: We are a growing specialty bakery café dedicated to serving high-quality desserts, coffee, and exceptional customer service.
We're looking for an Assistant Store Manager who is eager to learn every aspect of the business and grow into a leadership role. This is a hands-on position. You'll work alongside the team while helping oversee daily operations and ensuring our customers have a great experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare espresso-based beverages and provide excellent customer service.
- Learn and assist with baking and dessert preparation.
- Lead shifts and support daily café operations.
- Train, coach, and support baristas and new team members.
- Help maintain food quality, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
- Assist with inventory management, ordering, and stock control.
- Help develop and update food and beverage menus.
- Support scheduling and other administrative tasks.
- Help interview and onboard new employees.
- Step into the Store Manager's role when required.
- Continuously look for ways to improve operations and the customer experience. Qualifications
- Previous café, restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience required.
- Leadership or supervisory experience is an asset.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn baking, café operations, and business management.
- Reliable, organized, and able to lead by example.

Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
