Position Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Manager, Table Games or Shift Manager, Table Games, this position is responsible for providing dealing services to customers while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. Ensures adherence to the Companys policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadians learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.
Key Accountabilities
- Deals card games
- Maintains the security of the table and its float
- Controls the table in the correct order of play; closes bets at the appropriate time
- Refers disputes, irregularities or suspicious activities to the Manager
- Verifies chip refills and credits
- Tidies workstation and pit area
- Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
- Builds strong working relationships with guests and team members
- Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned or directed
Education and Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Available to work in a variety of shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings and overnights as per the business need
- Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service and Table Games
- Serving it Right Certificate
- Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License via Independent Gambling Control Office
- Other languages an asset
Pay: From $18.25 per hour
