The Opportunity
The People & Culture Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the employee experience across Gibbons Whistler. This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth administration of our people processes, maintaining accurate employee records, supporting recruitment and onboarding, and helping drive engagement and recognition initiatives throughout the business.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating great employee experiences. You'll work closely with leaders across the organization to ensure our people systems, documentation, and processes are consistent, compliant, and aligned with our values.
As a People & Culture Coordinator, you'll help bring our People Strategy to life by supporting team members throughout their employee journey—from onboarding to development, recognition, and beyond.
This is a full-time position with an anticipated start date of August 2026.

What You Bring to the Table
-
1–3 years of experience in Human Resources, People & Culture, Administration, or a related field.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Comfortable handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office and digital documentation tools; ADP experience is an asset.

Proactive, dependable, and committed to accuracy and follow-through.

Collaborative and approachable, with the ability to work independently and across teams.

Your Days Will Look Like
Performance Management & Employee Development

Track and monitor employee 1:1s, performance reviews, and onboarding performance plans (OPPs).

Follow up with managers to ensure completion and maintain documentation quality standards.

Support leaders in maintaining consistent people management practices.
Employee Records & HR Systems
-
Maintain accurate employee files, records, and HR systems.
-
Process employment changes, performance documentation, and offboarding paperwork.

Ensure employee data remains current, organized, and compliant.
Recruitment & Onboarding

Support recruitment activities including hiring campaigns, job fairs, interview coordination, and candidate communications.

Assist with onboarding logistics, system setup, and orientation processes.

Ensure all onboarding tasks are completed and tracked.
Employee Engagement & Communication

Support internal communications, employee recognition programs, and team celebrations.

Maintain employee milestone tracking, including birthdays, anniversaries, and recognition moments.

Assist with engagement initiatives that strengthen company culture.
Surveys, Reporting & HR Operations
-
Support employee surveys, feedback programs, and participation tracking.

Assist with reporting and employee experience insights.

Monitor People & Culture inboxes and provide day-to-day administrative support to employees and managers.
Projects & Continuous Improvement

Assist with People & Culture projects, policy updates, process improvements, and employee experience initiatives.

Help maintain HR resources, templates, SOPs, and documentation.

Contribute to improving consistency, efficiency, and service across People & Culture operations.
