Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated <PERSON> to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various aspects of construction and carpentry. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, including restoration, siding, framing, finishing work and more, contributing to high-quality building and renovation efforts. Applicants should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of performing physically demanding tasks.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities
- Install siding, framing, and other structural components using hand tools and power tools
- Operate heavy equipment safely for lifting, excavation, or material transport
- Utilize woodworking skills for custom carpentry projects and detailed woodwork
- Pay attention to detail
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently for various construction tasks
- Engage in heavy lifting and physically demanding activities to support project requirements
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and project specifications
Experience
- Proven experience in construction-related roles with a focus on carpentry, finishing work or restoration projects
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings is essential
- Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts or excavators preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work effectively with power tools and hand tools
- Prior experience working on siding installation or wood framing projects is a plus
