Summary
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper with hands-on knowledge of QuickBooks Online (QBO) to join our team in North York. Must be able to problem solve, and trouble shoot. This role is vital in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our clients' accounting needs from our office in Canada.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks Online and other accounting software.
- Perform account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and account analysis.
- Process payroll and handle accounts payable and receivable.
- Collaborate with accountants to support client needs.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
- Support the team with ad hoc accounting tasks as required.
- Qualifications - nothing specific but bookkeeping and accounting certificates would be great. Commerce degree would be preferable.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper with strong hands-on knowledge of QuickBooks Online.
- Proficiency in QBO essential. Excel, word and excellent keyboard skills.Other software an asset.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Prior experience working with owner-managed businesses or professional clients is a plus.
- Ability to teach clients to use QBO

Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
