Small Building supply company is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others and has excellent communication skills.
DUTIES
- Answer incoming customer inquiries via phone and email
- Provide accurate information about products and services
- Assist customers with placing orders, tracking shipments, and resolving any issues or concerns
- Perform data entry tasks to update customer accounts and maintain accurate records
- Analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions or additional products/services.
- Communicate effectively with customers to ensure their satisfaction and build long-lasting relationships
- Handle customer complaints or escalations in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and enhance the overall customer experience
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field is an asset
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Proficient in data entry and computer skills
- Sales experience is beneficial but not required
- Excellent phone etiquette and active listening skills
-Punctuality a must.
- Basic math skills essential.
