Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Legal Counsel to join our organization. The ideal candidate will provide expert legal advice, ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and support the company's strategic initiatives. This role requires a proactive approach to legal risk management and the ability to interpret complex legal issues clearly and effectively. The Legal Counsel will collaborate with various departments to safeguard the company's interests and uphold its reputation.
Duties
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and policies.
- Provide legal guidance on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws affecting the organization’s operations.
- Advise management on potential legal risks associated with business decisions and transactions.
- Assist in dispute resolution, including managing litigation or alternative dispute processes when necessary.
- Develop and implement internal policies to ensure adherence to legal standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with external legal counsel as needed for specialized legal issues or litigation support.
- Train staff on legal compliance topics relevant to their roles.
Experience
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience practicing law, preferably within a corporate or in-house setting.
- Proven expertise in contract law, corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal language into clear guidance.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across departments and with external partners.
- Prior experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment is preferred.

Pay: $7,000.00-$11,000.00 per month
