Overview
We are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee and coordinate bridge construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of construction processes, and proficiency with industry-standard management software. This role involves supervising construction teams, ensuring quality standards, managing budgets, and maintaining adherence to project timelines and safety regulations. The Site Superintendent will play a vital role in delivering high-quality projects efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise construction crews to ensure project tasks are completed on time, within scope, and according to specifications.
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to guide project execution.
- Monitor construction activities for quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to project standards.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to facilitate smooth workflow and resolve issues promptly.
- Manage project budgets by tracking costs and ensuring resource allocation aligns with financial plans.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, identify potential delays or hazards, and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed reports on project status, including progress updates, risk assessments, and compliance documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum 8-10 years of supervisory experience in civil construction, with direct bridge construction or rehabilitation experience (mandatory)
- Structural concrete works
- Reinforced concrete and formwork systems
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and shop drawings
- Familiarity with MTO standards, OPS specifications, and QA/QC procedures
- Proven ability to manage crews, schedules, and site logistics

Pay: $80,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
