REQUIRED IMMEDIATELY
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Resident/ Registered Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide professional therapy services aimed at promoting relaxation, alleviating pain, and enhancing overall well-being for clients. This role offers an opportunity to work in a serene environment along with team of other healthcare professionals. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of medical terminology related to massage therapy.
Responsibilities
- Perform therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including TENS, Ultrasound, deep tissue therapy , and other therapeutic techniques.
- Assess client conditions and discuss treatment goals to develop personalized therapy plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and relaxing environment for clients before, during, and after sessions.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate follow-up therapies if necessary.
- Keep detailed records of treatments provided and monitor client progress over time.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation procedures.
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure comfort and address any concerns or questions they may have.
Skills
- College PT registration in good standing.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy, physiology, and massage therapy techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming and trusting environment for clients.
- Effective communication skills to clearly explain treatment procedures and listen attentively to client needs.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- Prior experience in a wellness or healthcare setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
Licence/Certification:
- registration with college of physiotherapists of Ontario (required)
