Junior Accounting Clerk
As a Jr. Accounting Clerk at Stoney Trail Mazda, you will support the day-to-day financial operations of the dealership by assisting with data entry, reconciliations, and general accounting tasks. You will also receive training in processing vehicle deals, making this an excellent opportunity for someone early in their accounting career to build practical experience across multiple areas in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Primary Responsibilities:

Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing

Enter and maintain accurate financial data in dealership systems

Reconcile invoices, statements, and supporting documentation

Support month-end tasks including account reconciliation and reporting

Assist with the processing of vehicle deals, including reviewing and verifying documentation

Ensure deal paperwork is complete, accurate, and properly entered into internal systems

Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records

Assist with general administrative and accounting duties as required

Work closely with accounting team members and other departments to resolve discrepancies

Ensure all work is completed accurately and in accordance with company procedures
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or a related field

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Basic understanding of accounting principles

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Legally entitled to work in Canada
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in an accounting or administrative role

Experience working in an automotive dealership environment

Familiarity with dealership systems such as PBS or similar accounting software

Experience with data entry and reconciliation tasks
