Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to join our retail team. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases in a professional manner
- Operate POS systems accurately to process transactions quickly and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit, and debit payments with precision and integrity
- Provide product information and conduct product demos when needed
- Upsell additional items or services to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure the checkout area is clean and inviting
- Address customer inquiries via phone or in person with excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimize wait times
- Ensure compliance with store policies regarding cash handling and security procedures
