Fort Glass Inc is looking for an Installation Scheduler/Co-ordinator to join our team. Your position plays a crucial role in the coordination of timelines for installation projects, service calls and in-house work. The accurate and efficient scheduling of technicians and communication with customers and contractors to ensure successful overall project delivery.
The ideal candidate takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service, is proactive, has a strong work ethic, a problem solver who can follow established processes and still can bring new ideas to the table.
Duties
- Coordinate and schedule service calls, new installation projects, etc
- Communicate with customers/contractors for accurate and timely scheduling
- Monitor project progress and proactively resolve scheduling or delays
- Order, verify and ensure required materials and equipment are available for scheduled projects
- Maintain accurate job documentation and updates in company systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand the scope of the project and the associated required purchasing
- Create Work Orders and communicate with technicians and internal teams
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times
Skills
- Experience with scheduling, or project coordination
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and problem solving abilities
- Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities
- Proficiency with computers and software
- Positive attitude, ability to work collaboratively
- Comfortable working in a team in-office environment
- Carry and lift loads ranging from 10-40 lbs,
- Sitting at a desk,
- Ability to navigate in-shop to coordinate project materials
Experience
- Familiarity with construction processes and terminology
- Familiarity with installation processes
- Asset: knowledge of hardware and terminology, automatic door entrance systems,
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
