Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Multi-skilled Carpenter to join our construction and renovation team. The ideal candidate will possess a versatile skill set, including expertise in various aspects of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, roofing and finishing work. This role involves working on diverse projects such as restoration, cabinetry, roofing, siding, flooring, and more. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality craftsmanship across multiple trades, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to client specifications.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to execute project plans accurately.
- Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry work as required.
- Install cabinets, flooring, tiles, siding, roofing, and other building components with precision.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to carry out carpentry, woodworking, and assembly tasks.
- Conduct construction painting and caulking to ensure finished surfaces meet quality standards.
- Assist with electrical wiring, plumbing connections, and HVAC components when necessary.
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols on-site.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project milestones are achieved efficiently.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in carpentry with a broad skill set across multiple trades such as masonry, electrical work, plumbing, roofing, and finishing.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools and heavy equipment operation.
- Familiarity with concrete forming, rebar installation, tile laying, flooring installation, siding application, and restoration projects.
- Ability to perform drywall installation and repair as well as cabinetry installation.
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to various project requirements.
- Valid driver’s license and own transportation is a must.
- Prior handyman experience or general construction background is advantageous.
