We’re looking for a skilled Social Media Manager to take the lead on all things digital. This role is perfect for someone passionate about strategy, results based social media skills, and driving engagement across platforms. If you live and breathe social media, we want you on our team!
This will be a mostly remote position, with occasional team meetings but constant team communication, and the potential to grow into a role with more hours. The selected candidate will be hired on as a contractor.
PLEASE NOTE : we are looking for someone who really wants to focus on the digital and engagement parts of social media management and marketing. This is not a strictly content creation position.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute engaging social media strategies.
- Confirm, schedule, and post content across multiple platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.).
- Engage with audiences by responding to comments, messages, and community interactions.
- Set up shot lists and work with the team to plan content creation days.
- Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies for optimal growth.
- Communicate with the team to ensure everything for each client is completed
- Support light video editing for short-form content like Reels and TikToks.
- Coordinate PR moments, influencer collaborations, and event-based content opportunities, including outreach, invitations, and follow-ups.
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing social media accounts professionally.
- Strong understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with content scheduling tools and basic video editing software.
- Highly organized, creative, and detail-oriented.
- A team player with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
