Landscape Construction Account Manager
Job Summary
Conestoga Contracting Group is looking for a Landscape Construction Account Manager to own client relationships after the sale and help guide projects through delivery, closeout, and future opportunities.
This role is ideal for someone who understands landscape construction, communicates well with clients and crews, and knows how to protect the customer experience while identifying additional work that fits the property and the client’s goals.
You will work closely with sales, estimating, and production to keep clients informed, resolve issues early, support clean project handoffs, and help turn completed jobs into long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client relationships throughout active landscape construction projects
- Communicate project updates, schedule changes, scope clarifications, and next steps
- Support handoff from sales and estimating to production
- Visit jobsites as needed to stay connected to project progress and client needs
- Help resolve client concerns, deficiencies, and warranty-related follow-up
- Track client communication, requests, and open items accurately
- Identify upsell, enhancement, and phase-two opportunities
- Work with internal teams to keep projects moving smoothly and professionally
- Help create repeat business, referrals, and strong long-term client relationships
Qualifications
- Experience in landscape construction, account management, project coordination, client care, or sales
- Strong understanding of landscape construction services such as:
- Interlock
- Pavers
- Retaining walls
- Armour stone
- Planting
- Grading
- Drainage
- Softscape and hardscape installation
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Organized and able to manage multiple projects and follow-ups at once
- Professional problem-solver who handles issues early
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel to jobsites as required
