Position Summary
As our Warehouse & Co-Packaging Supervisor, you will be the driving force on the floor. This role isn't just about moving pallets; it is a dynamic blend of traditional warehouse logistics and fast-paced co-packaging production management. You will lead a dedicated team, optimize daily workflows, ensure strict quality control for kitting and assembly, and maintain a safe, positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and motivate warehouse and packaging floor staff. Set daily targets and ensure the team has the resources to meet them.
- Production & Co-Pack Coordination: Oversee assembly, kitting, labeling, and shrink-wrapping lines. Ensure all client-specific packing standards and timelines are met flawlessly.
- Workflow Optimization: Manage the receiving, putting away, picking, and shipping of goods. Continuously look for ways to streamline floor layout and processes.
- Quality Assurance: Implement strict quality control measures to ensure co-packed items meet exact client specifications and retail guidelines.
- Safety First: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in strict compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations. Lead by example on all safety protocols.
- Inventory Accuracy: Oversee regular cycle counts and ensure physical inventory aligns perfectly with our tracking systems.
What We Are Looking For
- Industry Experience (Required): Proven supervisory or strong team-lead experience specifically within a co-packaging or warehousing environment. You understand line balancing, labor allocation, and the fast-paced nature of contract packaging.
- Leadership Skills: A natural leader who communicates clearly, handles high-pressure deadlines with a calm demeanor, and knows how to build a collaborative team culture.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to think on your feet, resolve operational bottlenecks quickly, and adapt to changing client demands.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and standard office software (Excel/Word) for basic reporting.
- Physical Capability: Ability to be on your feet on the warehouse floor for the majority of the shift and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs if necessary.
Eligibility Requirements
- Work Authorization: Must be legally entitled to work in Canada at the time of application. We are unable to sponsor international work permits for this role.
