Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pizza Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and a strong understanding of food safety practices. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for crafting delicious pizzas while maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness in the kitchen. Your creativity and attention to detail will contribute to delivering an exceptional dining experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and assembling ingredients making dough.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain quality and safety in food service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred. We are willing to train the right person.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Passion for cooking, particularly in pizza preparation, with an eagerness to learn new skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
