In this role, you'll oversee yard operations, support and lead team members, maintain inventory flow, and ensure customers receive the products and assistance they need quickly and efficiently. - Lead the day-to-day operations of a busy lumber yard and warehouse environment
- Assist customers with product selection, loading materials, and providing exceptional service
- Ensure products are properly stocked, organized, and ready for purchase
- Coordinate shipping, receiving, unloading trucks, and inventory movement
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient yard environment
- Demonstrate and promote the highest standards of workplace safety and customer service
- Supervise and support team members, including scheduling and performance reviews
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock needs proactively
- Oversee order picking and ensure accuracy and efficiency in fulfillment
- Safely operate tools, equipment, and materials handling processes
- Support merchandising and overall yard presentation
