Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated, meticulous, and service-oriented Night Auditor to join our team. The Night Auditor will be responsible for all end-of-day functions and hotel operations during the night shift. In addition to managing guests' needs and ensuring their comfort and security, the Night Auditor plays a key role in maintaining the hotel's financial and operational integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Review and verify daily transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Reconcile and balance all financial transactions executed during the day
- Handle end-of-day activities and prepare daily reports for the management
- Maintain the security of the hotel, managing check-ins, check-outs and reservations
- Respond to guests' needs promptly and with courtesy during the night shift
- Perform duties of the front desk, reservations, switchboard, and all other duties as directed
- Resolve guest complaints in a tactful and diplomatic manner.
- Actively manage hotel parking lot to minimize unauthorized parking and traffic.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a hotel front desk or night audit role is an asset
- Strong mathematical acumen and meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in hotel management software (Opera PMS preferred)
- Availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Professional, responsible, and reliable, even in the overnight hours
- A commitment to delivering excellent customer service in line with brand standards
