Duties
- Prepare and cook authentic Nigerian dishes with precision, creativity, and consistency
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to maintain efficient operations
- Manage food handling processes, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards
- Oversee food service activities, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality meals to customers
- Lead team management efforts by training new staff and fostering a collaborative work environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in accordance with health regulations
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and minimize waste through effective stock control
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and restaurant service within a fast-paced environment
- Supervising experience in a culinary or hospitality setting is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian cuisine and traditional cooking techniques
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
