Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Education (ECE) IT Specialist to support young children in a classroom setting. This role involves integrating technology into early childhood education, assisting with childcare activities, and supporting children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, bilingual abilities, and experience working with children and special education. Responsibilities
- Implement and manage educational technology tools to enhance learning experiences for young children
- Support classroom activities by assisting teachers in daily routines and childcare tasks
- Collaborate with educators to develop inclusive lesson plans tailored to children's individual needs
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff in English
- Assist children with disabilities or special needs, ensuring a safe and supportive environment
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and classroom activities through written reports
- Organize classroom materials and resources to promote an engaging learning environment
- Support early childhood development through nurturing interactions, play, and educational activities
- Lead small group activities and provide one-on-one support where necessary
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized classroom environment
Requirements
- Proficiency in English highly preferred
- Experience 1 plus years of working with children in early childhood settings or classrooms as ECE IT.
- Knowledge of childcare practices, early childhood education principles, and special education strategies
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and team members
- Computer skills including operation of educational software and classroom management tools
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is desirable
- Excellent organizational skills to manage classroom resources and documentation
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Strong writing skills for documentation and reporting purposes
- Ability to manage time effectively in a dynamic classroom environment
