K2 Grass and Snow is looking for a reliable, hardworking Landscaping & Lawn Care Assistant to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in quality work, and is comfortable performing physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions.
As a Landscaping & Lawn Care Assistant, you will work alongside experienced crew members providing lawn maintenance, landscaping, and property maintenance services throughout Kamloops and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with residential and commercial lawn mowing
- Operate string trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment
- Edge sidewalks, driveways, and curbs
- Weed garden beds and maintain landscaped areas
- Assist with hedge trimming and shrub pruning
- Help with spring and fall cleanups
- Assist with mulch, soil, and rock installations
- Load and unload equipment, tools, and materials
- Maintain a clean and professional worksite
- Follow company safety procedures and equipment protocols
- Provide excellent customer service while on client properties
Qualifications:
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence preferred
- Previous landscaping or lawn care experience is an asset but not required
- Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently
- Experience operating lawn care equipment is considered an asset
- Full time availability into November preferred

$25.00 – $28.00 per hour, depending on experience
