The Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure is a 5k or 1k walk or run.
This year’s event will be taking place on Sunday, October 4th, 2026.
Tasks for this role include:
- Direct participants to the start line and help keep things moving
- Provide friendly crowd control to ensure a safe and smooth experience
- Cheer participants on as they cross the start and finish lines—bring the energy!
- This is an active role in which you will need to stand for long periods of time
