Bison Drivers are paid every week, on Time! This temporary position will run from June 22, 2026 to April 15, 2027.
- Running Sunday to Thursday, 15:30 to 02:00, 30-minute unpaid lunch break
- Hourly rate: $24.25
- Running 9 regular hours with 1 hour of overtime each day
- Hours of work might change from time to time according to operational demands
- Additional work might be available on request
- Reporting directly to the Terminal Lead and indirectly to Terminal Manager
- Essential responsibilities are trailer movement, trailer staging, trailer quick-checks, and trailer greasing, trailer cleaning/preparation, along with other general shop/yard duties
- Responsible for operation of the forklift when needed. Training will be provided.
- Works closely with fleet maintenance manager, city dispatch, and maintenance on daily shunting activities
- Responsible for operation of the forklift, loader, power walkie when needed. Training will be provided.
- Supporting yard maintenance and cleanliness.
- Shunt Driver pay-package applies
Candidate Profile
- Company Driver residing in Edmonton or immediate area
- Must have 24 months of tractor-trailer experience
- Valid Class 1/AZ License is required
- Shunt experience is an asset
- Well organized and possess excellent customer service skills
- Comfortable with smartphone technology for emailing and texting
- Reliable, flexible, and punctual
- Comfortable backing in all manner of tight spaces and locations
