Join the Opening Team at Avenue 18
Avenue 18 is Cobourg's newest destination for exceptional food, craft beverages and indoor golf.
Combining a chef-driven restaurant, premium craft bar and state-of-the-art Trackman golf simulators, we're creating a one-of-a-kind hospitality experience where people come together to eat, play and connect.
We're looking for energetic, positive and hospitality-focused individuals to join our Opening Team as Hospitality Team Members.
This isn't your typical serving position.
At Avenue 18, we believe every Front of House team member should be able to create an exceptional guest experience wherever it's needed. Whether you're welcoming guests into the restaurant, mixing cocktails behind the bar, serving dinner, helping guests get started in our golf lounge or celebrating a special occasion, you'll be part of one team working toward one goal - creating memorable experiences.

No golf experience is required, we'll teach you everything you need to know.
Responsibilities may include:
- Providing exceptional, genuine hospitality to every guest
- Greeting and welcoming guests as they arrive
- Taking food and beverage orders with confidence and accuracy
- Serving food, cocktails, beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages
- Preparing beverages behind the bar when scheduled
- Making recommendations on food and drinks
- Checking guests into our Trackman golf simulator bays (if preferred)
- Explaining the basics of the golf simulators and helping guests get started (if preferred)
- Resetting golf bays between reservations (if preferred)
- Processing orders and payments using Toast POS
- Maintaining clean dining areas, golf bays and bar spaces
- Assisting with food running, table resetting and hosting duties as needed
- Working together with the entire Avenue 18 team to create an outstanding guest experience
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has previous hospitality, serving or bartending experience
- Holds a valid Smart Serve Certification
- Enjoys working with people and creating memorable guest experiences
- Has a positive attitude and a team-first mindset
- Is dependable, professional and eager to learn
- Is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Is willing to learn multiple areas of the business
- Is available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required
