Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Safety and Compliance Manager to oversee and enhance our organization's safety protocols and regulatory adherence within our manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in fostering a safe workplace culture, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety policies and procedures aligned with industry regulations and best practices.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across all manufacturing operations.
- Lead incident investigations to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Coordinate safety training programs for employees, including onboarding sessions, ongoing education, and emergency response drills.
- Monitor compliance with OSHA standards and other relevant regulatory requirements, ensuring timely reporting and documentation.
- Collaborate with management to integrate safety considerations into operational processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness through communication campaigns, safety meetings, and recognition programs.
- Stay informed about evolving safety regulations, industry trends, and technological advancements to update policies accordingly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of safety protocols and compliance standards.
- Demonstrated ability in training & development, including designing and delivering effective safety training programs.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, industry-specific safety standards, and risk management practices.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage employees at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical skills for conducting inspections, incident investigations, and data analysis related to safety metrics.
- Ability to lead change management initiatives focused on fostering a proactive safety culture.
- Relevant certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or OSHA certifications are preferred but not mandatory. This role is integral to maintaining a safe working environment while supporting the organization’s commitment to operational excellence.
Pay: $17.00-$25.00 per hour
