Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting Cakes to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will possess a vehicle and is motivated and reliable to ensure delivery of fragile items.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate own vehicle to transport fragile Cakes to designated locations.
- We will notify you of your schedule 2-3 days before and it is an on-call job
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and photos.
- Collaborate with bakery team as needed (all communication is done on whatsapp)
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Must have flexibility to drive within GTA and come back to store as needed for further pickups
Skills
- Valid driver's license + must be able to use own car
- Ability to perform lifting of fragile items .
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Motivated and reliable to ensure timely delivery.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
