The Bearded Ox is a local mill to furniture company. We are looking for an EXPERIENCED HIGH END FINISHING CARPENTER. You will need to show a portfolio of work. This is detailed work, and requires someone who has dedicated time to this craft already. Our entry level positions are filled and the moment. Thank you.
The position will include everything from milling trees, to custom furniture building, epoxy pouring and finishing, cabinet building and installation. Must be physically healthy and able to lift and carry. We are looking for experienced, talented carpenters only for this position. Must be a hard working, self motivated individual with attention to detail and can take direction well. Carpenters looking to apply should have a portfolio of projects they have completed.
Work is located in Lethbridge, Alberta.
Summary
As a Carpenter, you will be integral of the business, focusing on custom made furniture and woodworking tasks. Using hand and power tools will be essential for executing precise cuts and installations. You will also leverage your skills in drawing/plan reading to ensure projects are completed accurately and on time.
Responsibilities
- Utilize hand and power tools to perform carpentry tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate construction.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials for various projects.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety standards.
- Conduct maintenance work to machinery to enhance the longevity.
- Assist in estimating material needs and project timelines.

Pay: $22.00-$40.00 per hour
