Concor Concrete Construction is a Calgary-based commercial contractor specializing in commercial concrete construction, demolition, restoration, surface preparation, waterproofing membranes, traffic coatings, epoxy systems, concrete polishing, and protective coating systems.
Our projects include parkades, commercial buildings, industrial facilities, balconies, and multi-family developments throughout Calgary and the surrounding area.
Responsibilities
* Lead commercial concrete, coatings, and restoration crews on active job sites.
* Coordinate demolition, concrete removals, and site preparation.
* Supervise surface preparation including grinding, shot blasting, scarifying, and substrate repairs.
* Install and oversee waterproofing membranes, traffic coatings, epoxy, polyurethane, and polyaspartic coating systems.
* Coordinate concrete repairs, joint sealants, crack repairs, and restoration work.
* Plan daily manpower, materials, equipment, and production schedules.
* Maintain quality control and ensure all work meets project specifications.
* Communicate with project managers, consultants, general contractors, and clients.
* Work safely at heights using lifts, swing stages, and fall protection systems when required.
Qualifications
* 3-5 years of commercial concrete, restoration, or specialty coatings experience.
* Previous Foreman or Lead Hand experience preferred.
* Experience with demolition, cribbing, rebar grids, formwork, concrete placement, and finishing.
* Experience operating grinders, shot blasters, scarifiers, and other surface preparation equipment.
* Experience installing waterproofing membranes, traffic coatings, epoxy, polyurethane, or polyaspartic systems is a strong asset.
* Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
* Comfortable working at heights and in physically demanding environments.
* Valid driver’s licence with reliable transportation.
* CSTS, WHMIS, Fall Protection, Elevated Work Platform, and First Aid certifications are considered assets.

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
