Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily office operations, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting various administrative functions. This role requires strong computer skills, proficiency in accounting, AR, AP and payroll, using Sage accounting.
Responsibilities
- Manage front desk duties, including greeting visitors and answering multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette
- Perform data entry, filing, and document proofreading to maintain accurate records
- Utilize Sage and other bookkeeping tools to handle basic financial transactions and record-keeping
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, organizing files, and managing correspondence using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Provide customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
- Maintain an organized workspace and ensure office supplies are stocked and properly managed
- Support clerical functions such as typing reports, updating databases, and supporting team members with administrative needs
Experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace is essential
- Experience with Sage or bookkeeping software is highly desirable
- Strong computer skills including data entry, filing, proofreading, and document management
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in customer service or front desk roles demonstrating professionalism and strong communication skills
- Knowledge of multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette is preferred
- Clerical experience involving medical or dental offices will be considered an asset
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
