We currently have an opening for a proactive and detail-oriented Data & Solutions Analyst to join our team.
As part of our Business Solutions Excellence team, you'll partner with leaders across operations, finance, sales, and IT to design scalable reporting, automate business processes, and implement technology solutions that improve efficiency and drive better decision-making.

What You'll Do
Drive Data-Driven Decision Making
- Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI and Excel.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze business data.
- Create scalable data models using Power BI (DAX, relationships, calculated measures) and Power Query.
- Analyze business performance, identify trends and root causes, and deliver actionable insights.
- Establish data governance, documentation, and reporting standards that improve consistency and quality.
Build Automation & Modern Data Solutions
- Develop automation and data workflows using Azure Functions and related Azure services.
- Create automated business processes with Power Automate and the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Design integrations between SQL databases, cloud applications, APIs, and Excel.
- Identify manual processes that can be automated and independently deliver scalable improvements.
Lead Business & Solution Analysis
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business challenges and define solution requirements.
- Document current and future-state business processes using process maps and workflow diagrams.
- Translate business needs into user stories, functional requirements, and technical documentation.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, execution, and validation.
Evaluate & Deliver New Solutions
- Research, evaluate, and recommend software platforms and third-party solutions.
- Conduct product evaluations and pilot programs.
- Lead initiatives from evaluation through implementation and user adoption.
Collaborate & Influence
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders by translating data into meaningful business solutions.
- Develop user documentation and deliver training for new reports, tools, and processes.
- Partner with IT, vendors, and business leaders to implement enhancements and new technologies.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to best practices across the Business Solutions Excellence team.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Analysis, Solutions Analysis, or a related role.
- Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries, optimization, and data transformation.
- Advanced experience with Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, and interactive dashboard development.
- Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query, complex formulas, and automation.
- Hands-on experience building automation and data workflows using Azure Functions and/or Azure data services.
- Experience developing workflows using Power Automate or similar automation platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the energy retail industry (natural gas and electricity).
- Knowledge of energy pricing, billing, and contract management systems.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, or similar cloud data platforms.
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
- Familiarity with API integrations and low-code application platforms.
