As an Accounting Manager, you will ensure that corporate financial policies and procedures are implemented locally in compliance with GAAP and applicable regulations. You will play a key role in financial statement audits and month-end closing, helping maintain accurate records while continuously improving processes. You will also provide timely, value-added financial insights to support strategic decision-making in your region and contribute to strengthening your team’s knowledge.
What does your typical day look like?

Lead the preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements and ensure timely, accurate reporting
- Support regional leadership with financial insights, budgets, and forecasts for strategic decision-making
- Oversee transactional finance activities (including payroll), ensuring efficiency and accuracy
- Improve and maintain financial systems, policies, and processes across the region
- Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and accuracy of accounting records
- Partner with site leaders to solve business issues, mitigate risks, and guide accounting treatments
- Contribute to budgeting cycles, forecasts, and quarterly business reviews with corporate finance
- Support team performance, compliance, audits, and internal controls across the region
What skills and experience are we looking for?
- Certified Professional Accountant designation.
- 5 or more years of accounting experience, including month-end closing and/or certification.

2 or more years of leadership experience.

Bilingual (French & English).

Healthcare or Insurance industry experience considered an asset.
- Knowledge of Workday is considered an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with other departments, while challenging the status quo.
- Excellent accounting skills.
- Demonstrated foundation of ethical decision making, while operating with a high degree of integrity.
- Ability to manage change and rapid growth.
- Ability to strategize and engage in long-term planning.
- Able to work in office from our Sherbrooke office (Minimum 3 days per week)
