We're looking for a skilled Drainage Superintendent to join our team. This important role will support our Drainage crews with complex projects, customer relationships, forecasting, and problem solving.
Key Qualifications
· A minimum of 7 years’ experience in excavation, drainage, pipe installation, or civil work.
· A minimum of 4 years experience supervising drainage crews.
· Strong understanding of pipe install and grading, code requirements, and trench safety.
· Strong commitment to safety.
· Valid BC Class 5 Drivers’ license, experience pulling trailers considered an asset.
Key Duties
· Mentors and supports drainage crews to complete quality work (perimeter drain installation, excavation, water line install, minor concrete work, and sewer/storm lateral installation), ensuring they have everything they need to get the job done.
· Liaises with customers and project managers.
· Schedules and manages sub-contractors.
· Ensures all necessary site documentation is completed (timesheets, toolbox talks, site reports, slips, etc.)
