We are hiring for this position out of our Toronto office. Successful candidates who apply outside of these areas will be expected to relocate and reside in a location that is within a commutable distance.
About the Role
As a Technical Support Analyst, you'll be the first point of contact for employees across Peoples Group, delivering exceptional IT support for devices, applications, Microsoft 365, and user access. You'll play a key role in onboarding and offboarding, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting modernization initiatives, including ServiceNow enhancements, automation, asset management, and process improvement projects in a growing technology environment.
About the day-to-day:
- Responds to Incidents by investigating problems and taking corrective action
- Undertakes root cause analysis for hardware and software related problems
- Completes Requests such as; install, configure, modify, and tests computer hardware such as workstations, printers and other peripherals; installs and test software according to established procedures
- Performs preventative maintenance of computer hardware systems
- Supports a variety of Microsoft core services such as Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, CRM and Banking systems
- Creates training and reference documentation for corporate users
- Ensures that IT standards and procedures are adhered to
Due the nature of the work some evening and weekend work will be required.
About you / qualifications:
- Post Secondary degree or diploma in Information Technology diploma/degree from a recognized institution or equivalent work experience
- Experience working with a financial institution
- Proficient with troubleshooting end user computers and devices, and their OS
- Experience with enterprise applications, including M365, SharePoint, MS Defender, MS EndPoint Manager and ServiceNow
- Foundations certificate in ITIL an asset
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft TCP/IP network. Understanding of sub-netting an asset
- Detail oriented with the ability to approach problems logically and prioritize responsibilities with minimal guidance
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills
- Support oriented with the ability to provide clear and accurate instructions to users in a variety of situations

About the work environment:
Peoples Group offers a flexible and hybrid work environment. In this role you will work a combination of in-office and remotely from home. Typically, you'll be working regular business hours, Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 4:30pm with flexibility around start/end times.

Hiring process:

Compensation:
The expected salary for this role is approximately $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 annually. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
