We are currently looking for a passionate, caring, and fun-loving Pediatric Dentist / Pedodontist who has a true love for working with children and delivering high-quality care. This could be a wonderful opportunity for an experienced pediatric dentist or a new graduate looking for a flexible, part-time position in a busy and rewarding practice.
Whether you are available once per week, once per month, or something in between, we are open to working around your schedule.
What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality dental care for infants, children, teens, and patients with special needs
- Complete examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative care, preventative care, and emergency dental treatment
- Use sedation techniques where appropriate, including nitrous oxide, oral sedation, and general anesthesia
- Apply pediatric behaviour management techniques to help children feel safe and comfortable
- Educate parents and caregivers on oral health, hygiene, treatment options, and preventative care
- Work collaboratively with our supportive and experienced clinical team
- Maintain accurate patient records and follow all clinical, infection control, and regulatory standards
- Support the high standard of care that families have come to expect from Smilee Dental Centre
What We’re Looking For
- Licensed Pediatric Dentist in Ontario
- New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply
- Experience treating children and patients with special needs is an asset
- Understanding of pediatric behaviour management techniques
- Experience with sedation methods, including nitrous oxide, oral sedation, and general anesthesia, is an asset
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and confident working with children and families
- Excellent communication skills with both patients and caregivers
- A positive team player who thrives in a collaborative clinical environment
- Someone who is caring, professional, and truly enjoys making dental visits a positive experience for children
