Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Batt Insulation Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have enough experience in insulation installation to complete work alone, knowledge of building codes and safety regulations, and a strong commitment to quality workmanship. The candidate will also have knowledge of blown cellulose installation and be prepared to perform blown cellulose jobs when the schedule requires.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install batt insulation in residential and commercial buildings according to specifications
- Install blown cellulose insulation in residential and commercial buildings
- Measure and cut insulation materials to fit various spaces and structures
- Follow safety protocols and building codes during installation
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make adjustments as necessary
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
Qualifications:
- 2+ experience installing batts or blown insulation a requirement
- Ability to complete residential and commercial installations alone and within set timelines
- Knowledge of insulation materials, tools, and installation techniques
- Ability to determine the correct methods of installation on various jobsites
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and a clean driving record a requirement
