About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, high-energy, and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaning Specialist to maintain a premier restaurant location in Lunenburg.
This early morning (7am start time) position starts at 3 days per week through the fall, transitioning into a busy winter schedule with 5 to 7 days of availability per week. Candidates must be looking for consistent work and willing to commit to a minimum of 3 to 4 shifts per week - we are looking for dedicated team members. Additional cleaning shifts outside of the primary restaurant location will also be available for those wanting extra hours periodically.

Key Responsibilities
- High-End Surface & Floor Care: Detailed sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized care for premium flooring and surfaces.
- Stainless Steel & Fixture Maintenance: Spotless cleaning, polishing, and sanitizing of all stainless steel equipment, fixtures, tables, and touchpoints.
- Restroom Sanitation: Thorough cleaning, disinfecting, and restocking of client restrooms to commercial standards.
- Timed Efficiency: Completing all tasks thoroughly within strict, set morning/after-hours timelines so the venue is ready for business operations.
- Safety Protocols: Proper handling and application of cleaning solutions with zero chemical cross-mixing.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Schedule & Availability: Must be available for a minimum of 3 to 4 shifts per week during the fall, with flexibility to pick up more days (up to 5–7 days) for the winter season. This is a strict 7am-10am cleaning window.
- Teachable Mindset: Willingness to learn our specific methods, accept constructive feedback, and follow instructions without debate.
- Reliable Transportation: Valid driver’s license and your own personal vehicle to travel to the Lunenburg location and potential secondary job sites.
- Physical Capability & Mobility: Strong physical stamina, good mobility, and the ability to lift up to 35–50 lbs (moving chairs, heavy trash, or commercial equipment).
- Self-Motivated & Independent: Ability to work efficiently alone with "a pep in your step" without constant supervision once trained.
- High Attention to Detail: A sharp eye for cleanliness, ensuring high-end finishes are cared for without streaks or missed spots.
- Trustworthy & Punctual: Absolute reliability, respect for client confidentiality, and consistency with shift start times.
