POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking an organized, customer-focused, and results-driven Business Development & Territory Manager (BDTM) to join our growing team.
This hybrid role combines operational account management with business development responsibilities, with approximately 70% of the role focused on operations and customer support and 30% focused on sales and growth activities.
The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for customers and Certified Business Owners within their territory, ensuring service excellence, resolving quality concerns, conducting inspections, coordinating account changes, and supporting the onboarding of new customers. In addition, the BDTM will identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and contribute to new business development efforts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct scheduled and on-demand customer site inspections, ensuring service quality and JAN-PRO standards are consistently met
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers and Certified Business Owners (CBOs), resolving concerns, assisting with service inquiries, and maintaining strong relationships
- Complete new account walkthroughs and oversee account changes, including service adjustments, special services, and account onboarding
- Support business growth by identifying sales opportunities, preparing proposals, and assisting in securing new accounts
- Oversee the training of new Certified Business Owners (CBOs) and support first cleans with new CBOs
- Provides regular updates and information relating to daily activities and account sales to the Regional Director

MUST HAVE:
- Valid G Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as required for training and first-clean support
PREFERRED:
- Experience in a service-based industry involving customer relationship management
- Previous operations, account management, or service delivery experience
- Experience in the commercial cleaning industry is considered an asset
- Previous B2B sales or business development experience
- Experience conducting inspections, audits, or quality assurance reviews
- Post-secondary education in Business, Management, or a related field is considered an asset
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
