Overview
We are seeking an experienced Skid Steer Operator with a strong background in landscaping and heavy equipment operation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with various construction and landscaping projects, demonstrating proficiency in operating skid steers and related machinery. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, contributing to the successful completion of landscaping and construction tasks in a dynamic environment.
Duties
- Operate a stand on mini and full size skid steer loaders efficiently for grading, excavation, and material handling tasks.
- Assist with landscaping projects, including site preparation, soil movement, and debris removal.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure all operations comply with industry standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, adhering to safety and environmental regulations.
- The position will require some manual labour so candidate should be physically fit and be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
Experience
- At least 5 years experience operating skid steer loaders in a landscaping or construction setting. Grading experience required.
- Prior work in residential landscape construction with grading experience.
- Able to follow instructions and work independently.
- Must have own transportation and able to travel within Edmonton and surrounding areas.
Pay: $15.00-$28.00 per hour
