Automotive Parts Coordinator Responsibilities
- Process dealer parts request via the internal ticket system, meeting all priority-level deadlines
- Coordinate with global and local distribution teams to expedite orders and resolve procurement issues
- Provide technical assistance on part specifications, applications, and compatibility
- Advice on alternate, obsolete, and new part numbers
- Track orders and provide delivery estimates using warehouse and logistics systems
- Monitor and optimize automatic stock replenishment performance through data analysis
- Manage parts deliveries, returns, warranty claims, and vendor service levels
- Support pricing analytics, margin reviews, and monthly reporting
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and regulatory requirements
- Build relationships with dealers, field staff, and internal teams
- Serve as a system super-user for inventory and logistics platforms
Automotive Parts Coordinator Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
- 3–5 years in automotive parts; dealership or OEM experience preferred
- 1–2 years in logistics, transportation, or warehouse operations
- SAP knowledge, preferably MM or WM modules
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills required
- Experience with WMS/ERP platforms; EWM familiarity an asset
- PMP certification or project management training asset
- CPIM or CSCP designation considered an asset
- Bilingual English/French asset
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into business action
- Self-starter with proven stakeholder management abilities
Employment Details
- Job Type: 1-year contract with the possibility of extension
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (hybrid)
- Location: Toronto, Ontario
